Cycloids are the mechanical servants of Metal Cooler.
Appearance[]
Most Cycloids are tall with white armored bodies with purple detail. They also have a single red eye that blinks when they communicate.
D.V.E.D. is a yellow cycloid with a wheel.
Biography[]
The Cycloids first appear in Cooler 2: The Return of Cooler's Revenger - The Reckoning having taken the Namekians hostage under the orders of Metal Cooler. After the Z Warriors arrive, one group of Cycloids kidnap Master Roshi, Oolong and Yajirobe while another group fight Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin.
Piccolo fails to do any damage to the Cycloid he fights until Nail gives Piccolo the idea to hit them really hard. Piccolo and Gohan proceed to destroy many of the Cycloids while Krillin is stopped by a Cycloid mid-attack. As Piccolo continues destroying cycloids, another group kidnap both Gohan and Krillin.
After firing their cannons at him, Piccolo proceeds to destroy the final group of Cycloids outside the Big Gete Star. Inside the Big Gete Star, the kidnapped Z Warriors meet D.V.E.D. who takes Yajirobe to the de-organer. When Goku and Vegeta overload the star, all of the Cycloids as well as the Metal Coolers blow up.
