Plot Summary[]
With the World Martial Arts Tournament nearby, Gohan goes to Capsule Corp to talk with Bulma about his Great Saiyaman outfit. Because he cannot wear his helmet for the tournament, Gohan asks Bulma for a work around. Bulma asks Gohan if he can pull off a durag and the latter tries it out. But when Gohan asks Trunks for his opinion, the latter is hesitant to say as he might get grounded for being honest.
Suddenly, Vegeta comes into the room, mocking Gohan's superhero persona. Ignoring that insult, Gohan asks Vegeta if he will participate in the tournament, but the latter says he does not want to as he is already rich thanks to Bulma. However, a familiar voice comes to the group and offers to come down to the tournament. While Vegeta believes he is hearing things, Gohan confirms he is hearing the same thing as well. Goku has returned.
Running Gags and Callbacks[]
- Vegeta's fears that the voices are coming back are a reference to Ghost Nappa back in Season 2.
