Vegeta was the home of the Saiyans, of which Goku is a member of. It was known to have two moons, and appeared rather pink from space.

History[]
According to King Kai, the Saiyans 'shared' Planet Vegeta with the high-tech Tuffles. Once they went to war and the Saiyans won (with the help of the Ozarru form) and the Tuffles were (presumably) extinct. An unknown amount of time passed, and the Saiyans were taken over by Freeza and his men. Afterwards, Freeza blew up Vegeta (after he killed Vegeta, and before he killed Vegeta).
