"Three's A Crowd" is the sixth episode of Dragon ShortZ. It premiered on February 10th, 2024.
Plot[]
Krillin and 18 peacefully wake up one morning at Kame House, only for their peace to be broken by a naked Master Roshi offering them pancakes. After Krillin sends Roshi away, 18 immediately says they must move out of Kame House. This surprises Krillin as they are living with no need to pay rent, but 18 points out how horrible living here for three years is to her: having to dry out Roshi's sexist T-Shirts, getting lingerie during her and 17's birthday party, and seeing Roshi plant a camera in her and Krillin's room so he could see them have sex.
Despite understanding her complaints, Krillin wonders how they can afford a place of their own as they do not have much money. 18 states that they could steal a place for themselves, which Krillin rejects the idea as well as pointing out that 18 said that she would stop doing that. 18 assures him that she was just joking... mostly. Krillin suggests asking 17 for some land, but 18 says they are not on the best speaking terms due to her giving her brother a tiger man rather than a male tiger. Also, the idea of entering the World Martial Arts Tournament is shot down after Krillin finds out the next one is four years away. 18 suggests that Krillin gets a job, but he is not sure if he is employable given that all he did in his life was work as a Buddhist monk and train under Roshi. 18 understands that, given that the only lessons Dr. Gero gave her were killing people. Instead, Krillin suggests doing manual labour as they can both use their strength to build skyscrapers in a day. However, 18 is hesitant about heavy lifting, revealing to Krillin that she is pregnant.
Hearing that takes Krillin aback, learning that 18 is one month pregnant, but she only knew it for a week. Rather than being upset that 18 held this information from him, Krillin is overjoyed that he gets to be a father and they embrace. However, Roshi ruins the moment by asking 18 when her boobs will get bigger, and 18 states then if they had a girl and and they doesn't moves out until she reached puberty, 18 will kill Roshi. However, instead of being scared, Roshi only states that he had a good run and continues eating the pancakes.
Running Gags/Callbacks[]
- On and off, Krillin refers to 18 by her real name Lazuli.
- 18 gives 17 a tiger man instead of an actual tiger, referring back to DTF when both she and Krillin mention that she owed him one.

Trivia[]
- Krillin remembering the lingerie that Roshi gives 18 and wondering if he still fits in his is a callback to the original Dragon Ball, in which Roshi gave the same lingerie to Launch, making Goku and Krillin wear it as well and claiming that it was the sacred uniform of the Turtle School.
- The tiger man named Tony is reference to Tony the Tiger, the mascot of Kellog's Frosted Flakes. 17 even asks if that was intentional.
- Krillin and 18 would move out in 10 years canonically in the original series; by then Krillin was employed as a cop.
